I did not have a lot of hope when I picked up Suresh Menon’s “Dream Team India.” The cover page photos seemed old and clearly this book was from a couple of decades ago. I was leafing through the pages and I came across a name that made me stop.
Robin Singh
I stopped instantly, and started reading. I had no idea what I had hit a jackpot! So many memories breezed past in an instant. Robin has been my hero since he made his debut in the ODIs. His fielding, bowling, batting, smile, style - pretty much everything was special. Tendulkar was the God, but Robin was the Hero I aspire to be. I just played gully cricket, but I wanted to play it like him.
Those 5-6 pages gave me such a joy that I could not stop myself from taking photos and preserving Robin Singh’s story in my memory.
I know I am not the only fan out here! So putting this out there for all others who grew up admiring the cricket and heroic of this God!
So here you go.. those 6 beautiful pages that share a brief summary of his life and work.
Suresh Menon - I thank you for writing this.

I’m aware that publishing photographed copy like this is not the right attribution to the hard work of Suresh Menon & original publishers of the book. I am doing it to spread this story, as this book is not easily available anymore. Happy to take this one down, if needed.
